Canyon Cove

Greenfield Development Corporation's Annual Summer Outing 2012

Our call time was 6:30AM but for being pinoy, we leave our office around 8:00AM.

We arrived at the resort around 10:00AM.

They told us to just wander around since our check in time was 3:00PM. The resort provides us a hall were we can leave our things. After eating our lunch, we still have few hours before checking in. We then played Bingo and Bring-me (c/o HR) until such time that it was time for checking in.

Unfortunately, it took almost an hour before everyone was able to have their room assignments since the resort was not yet done cleaning the rest of the room to be used.

So here's the checklist on what's inside the room:
    1. Three (3) double size beds.
    2. Only 2 beds has blankets (you need to pay for the 3rd one)
    3. Toilet and Bath with phone
    4. Not working blower
    5. Cabled TV (no tv signal when we went there)
    6. Mini ref with 3 bottled water
    7. Phone (operators didn't answer the phone most of the time)

After the buffer dinner, everyone just had their free time to play cards, drinking and smoking sessions, etc.
Since the resort only allow to use the beach till 6:00PM and the pool till 9:00PM.

The next morning, we had our buffer breakfast and have to check out by 10:00AM.

Voucher Experience

Thanks to CashCash Pinoy, we were able to try Gotti's Ristorante, the cheaper way!

Though there's a glitch during the process of buying the coupon. We bought 4 vouchers but unfortunately,  CashCash Pinoy  did only process the 4 vouchers (Mine and my other friend) then the other 4 vouchers were transacted to his credit card but the following day,  CashCash Pinoy  message him that his voucher were cancelled. the frustrating part is that, the refunding period of  CashCash Pinoy  will take about a month, meaning, he has to pay his voucher (though it cannot be used) and after a month, the refund will be given to him thru his credit card and not in cash.

With all those circumstances, we proceed to our dinner with just four vouchers and just plan to pay cash for our extra orders.

Voucher details :

P 165.00 -- for  P300.00 worth of food (max of 2 voucher per person)

All in all, we have 4 vouchers (P660.00) for an amount of (P1,200.00)
for a group of 9, we just paid an extra cash for our drinks. :)

Isabela Trip

Last April 20, 2012, I went to San Mateo, Isabela for a short trip. I availed G/V Florida’s Sleeper bus via Tuguegarao (Cagayan). Out of curiousity,I insisted myself to try this new bus of Florida even though I have to pay it in a costly price and have to transfer to another bus when I reached Isabela. Day before my trip, I went to the terminal to have a reservation since I was informed that most riders going to Tuguegarao avail this kind of bus for convenience during the entire long hours of travel.

I paid P750.00 fare to Santiago City and have to take an ordinary bus of Nelbusco bound to Roxas and paid P30.00 to San Mateo City.

It took 9 hours going to Santiago City from Manila since the road going to Carranglan, Nueva Ecija is under construction. The regular trip takes only 6-7 hours and from Santiago going to San Mateo, almost an hour trip.

How I wish that the approximate travel time reflected in my phone is accurate. :)
