Wanted : Graphic Artist

Since college, I'm struggling to pursue my dream to be a graphic artist and animator. I'd joined a University Wide Multimedia Organization to further enhance my skills and go beyond the boundaries of what i knew back then was my end point. I didn't failed to my objective in joining but few years after, approaching senior year, it was difficult to manage all my task since my course requires time, focus and practice in solving in order for me to have that diploma thing that my parents and loved ones looking forward to.

For 2 years, I stopped using Adobe Products (Photoshop, Aftereffects, Premiere, Illustrator) instead, I'm patiently doing all my academics requirements using AutoCAD, Staad, Epanet. I step aside my dream and focused on what I have started and pressure myself to finish this 5-year course ON TIME! Not just for me, but also for the people that surrounds me.

Fortunately, I did managed to GRADUATE on time. I'd tried to do a short video animation for my batch but it was hard for me to get back on track on what i have left few years back. I was able to come up for a 9.00 sec output but didn't able to finish it. Due to laziness and lack of motivation to further do it so. I will put the video here in a couple of days to share to everyone.

  1. I hope you get the motivation to reach for your dreams. I myself started self-studying coding after putting it off for a while.

It's never too late naman :)

  2. Decisions are always hard to make but as long as we are making one, it's still a lot better than staying idle and undecided.

  5. There's still time to pursue your dream of becoming a Graphic Artist -- heck, even old people still go back to school. I'm sure, you can still practice on what you've left behind. As long as you're passionate towards achieving your dream, everything else will fall into place sooner or later. :)

  10. Actually, I don't see any reason for you to lack motivation. You are talented (And I seriously mean that... (You can blog, you can do video stuff, and all). But I do understand the 'laziness' reason part. :D
