By the way, since we are all civil engineers, My accommodation for this trip is sponsored by my friends at their barracks.
On the second day, we went first to The Philippine Eagle Center located Calinan, Davao. Roughly about one hour road trip from the city center.
How to get here:
1) Take jeepney from wherever you are and head to Annil terminal located at Quirino corner San Pedro Extension. Bus from Annil to Calinan leaves the terminal every 15 minutes. Fare is P30.00.
2) Once you reached the terminal at Calinan, take the Habal Habal (motorcycle) which will take you to the Philippine Eagle Center for about 15 minutes. Fare is 15.00.
3) Walk to the entrance gate and pay for the environmental fee of P5.00
4) Walk a few more meters and you will see the entrance of the Philippine Eagle Center. Entrance fee is P50.00
From Philippine Eagle Center, we took again Habal Habal ride going to the Calinan City proper to take us back to Downtown Davao. From Calinan, there is a van terminal going to different part of Davao. We took the one with Roxas Route. Fare until Matina is P30.00.
Our second destination is the Hilltop to have our lunch. From Matina, we rode again Habal habal going to the hilltop. We chose to eat at Vista View Resto.
after our lunch, we then asked for a taxi that will take us to our third destination, Philippine Crocodile Park. Taxi fare is less that P100.00. Entrance Fee tot he Park is P200.00 which includes Fire show. This would be my first visit at the park since during the first time I came here, I have no budget LOL. I just tried their Crocodile Durian Ice Cream. But now, I was thankful that I have the budget to go inside the park. Haha!!
Here are some of the things you can find inside the park
We then took Taxi going back to City proper (Fare less than P150.00) and just by food at the nearby Carinderia and eat inside the barracks just a typical Engineer on duty. haha!
